Search, text conversion and your clipboard
Symbol search and Fancy Text conversion run on your device. We do not read your system clipboard. We write text to it only when you choose a copy action. Fancy Text drafts are not automatically saved or submitted to our server.
Search words can appear in the search page’s URL and your browser history when you submit a search. Avoid entering sensitive information. Analytics is excluded from search and error pages. On other pages, our pageview integration removes URL queries and fragments and sends only the origin of the referring page.
History stored in this browser
The copy bar saves up to 50 successfully copied items under symbols-copy-paste.clipboard.v1 in local storage. Copied Fancy Text results and combinations count as items too. This history is shared between pages and tabs on the same website and browser; it is not synchronized to an account or another device.
Saved items remain until you remove them, use Clear, or clear this website’s browser data. Individual removal and Clear also update other open tabs. Do not copy confidential text into the saved bar on a shared device. When storage is unavailable, history lasts only for the current page. A failed automatic copy does not add a saved item.
Analytics and cookies
When enabled for this website, we use Plausible for aggregate pageview statistics, Google Analytics 4 for traffic measurement, and Microsoft Clarity for interaction analysis and session replay. The controls below identify the services active on this page.
Plausible receives a pageview name, site key, the current page’s origin and path, and the referring origin. The browser also supplies ordinary network information. Our sender omits cookies and does not include search words, Fancy Text drafts, copied items or custom user identifiers.
Google Analytics and Clarity may process device and browser information, approximate location derived from network information, visited pages and interactions. When analytics storage is allowed, their tags may use cookies to recognize visits. We deny advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization in our integrations. We do not send your text through custom analytics events.
Clarity is configured to mask text. We also mark the main content and copy controls for masking, including typed and generated text. Session replay can still represent page layout, page URLs and interactions. Avoid putting private information in URLs. Masking does not mean the provider receives no network or interaction information.
Your analytics choice
Analytics storage is enabled by default when a service is configured. A saved rejection takes priority before tags initialize. Turning analytics off stops our Plausible sender and instructs Google Analytics and Clarity to deny analytics storage. Their tags still load and may send limited requests without analytics cookies. Changing this setting does not delete statistics already processed by a provider.
Enabled services: Plausible, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity. Analytics storage is on by default. You can change this choice at any time. Advertising storage stays off.
Turning analytics off stops Plausible pageviews and tells Google Analytics and Clarity to deny analytics storage. Their tags still load and may send limited requests without analytics cookies.
Loading your analytics preference…
We save this choice under symbols-copy-paste.analytics.v1. You can reopen Analytics settings in the footer at any time. The preference persists until you change it or clear website data. If your browser blocks storage, the choice applies to the current page only; the next page uses the default. You can also manage cookies and site data in your browser.
Hosting and contacting us
The site is designed to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Delivering pages can involve standard request information such as IP address, request URL, browser details and timestamps, handled by the hosting provider. These network requests are separate from our browser analytics controls.
If you email us, your email provider and ours process the message, address and any information you choose to include. We use support messages to respond and investigate the reported issue. Send only what is needed; never include passwords or other secrets. You may ask us to delete a support conversation, subject to records we need to retain.
Third-party services and retention
Analytics and hosting providers handle information under their own terms and retention practices. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for provider-held data. We do not sell saved copy history or offer user accounts, purchases or advertising features on this version.
Updates and requests
We update this page when our features or data practices change and show the revision date above. To ask about this policy or request help with data connected to a support message, contact support@symbolscopypaste.net. Local copy history can be removed directly using the copy bar or your browser’s site-data controls.
